Network Upgrade sees Link Between One Tree and Lady Larcom

Dreamtilt has completed a network upgrade that will allow for further redundancy and network expansion.

Recently a new radio backhaul was installed and connected between One Tree Hill in Gladstone and the tower on Lady Larcom.

This new radio now completes a ring from Mt Maurice to Biondello to One Tree Hill to Lady Larcom and then back to Mt Maurice.

This ‘ring’ effectively allows us to maintain internet to customers and business should any radio backhaul go down in a particular section (or we should loose power to a tower and take systems offline for that tower).

Expansion and growth are key for Dreamtilt in the local area, and we continue to look at network upgrades, redundancy options and further towers to connect on to so that we can service more people in our local area and provide a better local service.
