| DREAMTILT CONFIGURATION |
The simplest and easiest way to configure your computer for connection to Dreamtilt is to pick up a Dreamtilt connection disk from any of our resellers. These disks are free of charge.
Alternatively you can download the Dreamtilt connection and email setup tools which, when run, will automatically setup the necessary connection and email account settings for you.
If you have a Apple Macintosh Computer please check out our configuration settings for macintosh computers.
Dreamtilt recommends the latest Microsoft Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. You can download the latest version by going to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/

Windows XP
1. Click on Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.
2. Double click on the Intenet Options icon
3. When the Internet Options box appears, click on the General tab and click in the textbox of the Home Page section. Delete any existing address and type in http://www.dreamtilt.com.au
4. Click on the tab Connections. Highlight any exisiting connections by clicking on them and then click on the remove button.
5. With all exisiting connections removed, click on the Setup button.
6. The New Connection Wizard will start, then press the Next button.
7. Select the option connect to the Internet, then click Next
8. Select the option, Set up my connection manually, then click Next.
9. Select the option, Connect using a dial up modem
10. In the ISP name box type - Dreamtilt and clik Next.
11. Type in the phone number 0198 333 217 and then click Next.
12. Type in your Dreamtilt Username, password and click on Next.
13. Click on the option Create shortcut on desktop and then click Finish.
You have now completed your Dreamtilt connection. Check out section below on how to configure your Dreamtilt email.
Windows 95, 98
On your computer screen you should see an icon saying My Computer. Double Click on this icon.
Then click on Dial-up Networking. If you do not have this icon on your screen then follow the steps further below. Then follow these steps -
1. Double Click on Make New Connect
2. Type in Dreamtilt for the name of the computer you are dialing
3. Select Modem type. This should already be your default modem. If not select your modem from the drop down list by pressing the down arrow. If your modem is not here, then you have not configured it correctly or installed your modem driver. Consult your modem manual on how to configure your modem.
4. Click on Next.
5. On the screen type in only the telephone number - 0198 333 217
6. Select Australia(61) as the Country or region code. Click on Next.
7. Click on Finish to create your Dreamtilt connection.
You can make a shortcut to your desktop screen by going into the Dial-up Networking file and right click on the Dreamtilt icon then move the icon onto your desktop screen without taking your finger off the right mouse button. Then take your finger off and it should say Create Shortcut Here. Click on it and the Dreamtilt Connection icon should now be on your screen.
If Dial-up Networking Is Not On Your Computer
You will have to install the software onto your computer, so make sure your Windows CD is handy. To install Dial-up networking do the following -
1. Double click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
2. Double click on Control Panel folder.
3. Double click on Add / Remove Programs.
4. Choose the Windows Setup tab and then click on Communications. Click on the Details button.
5. Select Dial-up Networking ( a tick should now appear in the box).
6. Ensure your Windows CD is in your CD ROM Drive and click on the OK button.
Setting Up Email Account for Dreamtilt
To set up your email, you must start Outlook Express. To start Outlook Express, click on the icon that is a letter with two blue arrows around it or find it under Programs on your toolbar.
When you start Outlook Express an Internet wizard will appear to set up your Internet account. If the wizard does not appear then follow the steps outlined further below.
When the Internet Connection Wizard appears, you will be able to enter your email details.
1. Enter your display Name - this can be your real name or name you wish to appear on the email (For instance Joe or Smith or Fred's Construction Services) Click on next.
2. Enter your email address which will be your Dreamtilt username@dreamtilt.com.au (For example - joe@dreamtilt.com.au) Click on next.
3. The incoming mail server must be set as mail.dreamtilt.com.au. The outgoing mail server must be set as mail.dreamtilt.com.au. The server is a POP3 server. Click on next.
4. Enter your Dreamtilt username in Account name and your Dreamtilt password in password. Click on remember password if you do not wish to enter your password details every time you connect. Click on next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. You are done! Close all boxes and now you can start using Outlook Express.
If the Internet Connection Wizard does not appear, then follow these steps -
1. Click on Tools, then Accounts in the top toolbar of Outlook Express.
2. A box called Internet Accounts will appear. Ensure you are under the Mail tab.
3. Click on the account that says mail.dreamtilt.com.au and then click on the Properties button on the side.
4. Under General, in the Mail Account text box type in Dreamtilt.
5. Under User Information type your name in Name: (For example Joe or Fred's Construction Company)
6. In E-mail address type in your Dreamtilt email address which will be your Dreamtilt username@dreamtilt.com.au (For example - joe@dreamtilt.com.au)
7. Up the top, click on the Servers tab, and type in your Dreamtilt username in Account name: and your Dreamtilt password in Password. Click on Remember Password if you do not wish to enter your password everytime you check for email.
8. Click on Ok, then click on Close. Your all done and ready to use Outlook Express! |
